Origin Story

Flonatix is the first skin-care brand rooted in Tropical Asia-Pacific beauty, built specifically for oily, combination, and melanin-rich skin. Indonesian-born and Washington, D.C.-based founder Jay Hanggawan spent 2.5 years building Flonatix after moving to the U.S. and realizing nothing on shelves was made for skin like his — skin shaped by humid climates, rich in melanin, and chronically underserved by the mainstream beauty industry.

Flonatix’s hero product, the Island Renaissance Glow Up Genius™ Moisturizer ($34), is a cooling gel-cream centered around mangosteen extract, a Tropical Asia-Pacific superfruit long used in regional skin-care traditions.
