As if you needed another reason to indulge in nutrient-rich and vitamin and mineral-packed avocados, we’ve got a super simple appetizer that’ll make you the center of attention at your next party. These avocados stuffed with Gorgonzola and walnut cream are nothing short of exceptionally delicious!
Ingredients (Yields 4):
225 grams cream cheese
50 ml sour cream
1 tbsp lemon juice
110 grams gorgonzola
3 tbsp walnuts, chopped
Toasted walnut halves
- Mash the cream cheese, Gorgonzola, sour cream, and cream cheese into a bowl until well blended.
- Add the chopped walnuts and season with black pepper to taste.
- Cut the avocados in half, remove the pits, and brush with lemon juice.
- Spoon the cheese mixture into the avocados and garnish with the toasted walnut halves and Gorgonzola.
